What does the cost include? The cost of camp includes lodging at Centenary Camp and all of the meals starting dinner Sunday evening after your arrival through breakfast Saturday morning before you leave. We will provide a worship program with music and a speaker each night you are at camp as well as devotional materials, a t-shirt, and activities. The plans and materials for all the work projects are also included.

Can our youth bring extra spending money? We really want to create an attitude of service so we discourage our participants from going to the store to buy candy, soda, etc. However you might want to have a little cash on hand for a small gift for your homeowner or incidental needs.
What if my group registers and then decides to add people? To add people before the camp is sold out, fill out a new group registration form for the additional participants and send a $25 per person non-refundable deposit if before October 1st or $100 per person after that time. No additional participants will be accepted after May 1st. After the camp is sold out, call our office and we will add you to the waiting list for that camp. We will call you if and when those spots become available.

What if my group registers and then decides to drop people? Before making the first payment you will only lose the $25 deposit for each cancelled spot. After making your first payment you will lose the $25 deposit and $75 first payment. Refunds for cancellations after May 1st will be granted in the amount of $200 only when the spot can be filled with someone from the waiting list - SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS.

Are younger children allowed to come along with parents? Due to the understood risks of home renovation, younger children are not allowed to accompany their parents. We know this is an inconvenience for some of your adult leaders but we would rather be safe than sorry.
How many adults is my group required to bring? You must have at least 1 adult for every 7 youth and a maximum of 2 adults for every 7 youth. These ratios help insure that our work crew sizes stay around 7-8 people.

What will our rooming situation be? Centenary Camp has two dorms, one for the guys and one for the girls, which house 44 participants each. Each dorm is divided into two sides with the bathroom in the middle. Each side has 22 bunk beds and we typically put the older youth on one side and the younger youth on the other side. Their must be at least 2 adults on a side. If we find we find anyone's stuff some where other than the assigned location the staff will hold it until they come to us to retrieve it.

Can participants bring food and drinks? Yes… however it must be stored in sealable plastic bags, or in a container with a lid. The reason for this is to prevent bugs and rodents in the dorms.
How can parents get in touch with their children while at camp? There is a phone in the kitchen at camp that participants can use to make local calls (Tallahassee is a local call). However, there is not always someone in the kitchen to answer the phone so it will be easier to provide parents with your cell number. If a student needs to use your phone to get in touch with a parent, please have them do so inside the main room.

What are the ages for Love at Work? Must have completed the 6th graders through graduated 12th graders.

What about transportation? You are responsible for getting all of your participants to Centenary Camp. In addition, you will also need to be able to transport your work crew to and from the worksites.

What is are group responsible for bringing? We suggest that each participant should bring their own hammer, tape measure, work gloves, carpenters pencil and painting supplies. In addition we request that your group bring any ladders or power tools that you have at your disposal. Any other personal tools that you wish to bring is fine with us, however they are your responsibility to keep up with.

Can this be used for community service hours?
Absolutely, your work at Love at Work can be used for up to 30 hours for the week for scholarships such as Florida Bright Futures.
