Participants are housed
at Centenary
Camp, which is run by the Tallahassee District
of the United Methodist Church. The camp has two dorms
that each sleep 44 people, a main dining hall/worship
area, a
recreational field, basketball and volleyball courts,
and swimming pool. Each morning participants pray, eat
breakfast,
have quiet time, then pack up and head to the worksites.
After returning to the camp in mid afternoon they will
have a chance to swim in the pool, participate in competitive
games, and enjoy Christian fellowship through free time.
After dinner the campers break up into their individual
work
groups and talk about their experience on the worksite,
the devotionals, and what the speaker discussed the previous
night. After these small group meetings all return into
the
dining hall where they worship the Lord with our worship
band, and learn more about Christ’s plan for their
lives.
